Justin Brown brings an elite background in baseball instruction, player development, leadership coaching, scouting, and mental performance training to The Batter’s Box of Sunbury.

Justin has coached at the collegiate level, serving as a head baseball coach at both the NAIA and NCAA Division III levels. He has also coached with some of the region’s top travel baseball organizations, including Ohio Elite Baseball and Bo Jackson Elite. In addition, Justin previously served as the Ohio Assistant Scouting Director for Prep Baseball Report and as Director of Baseball Development at Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports, where he helped lead player development programming for athletes throughout Central Ohio.

Justin’s experience gives him a strong understanding of what players need at every stage of development — from younger athletes learning proper fundamentals to advanced players working toward high school, college, and beyond.

In addition to his baseball background, Justin currently works as a Mental Performance and Leadership Coach with athletes, coaches, and executives across the country. His client base includes athletes and coaches connected to the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, and nationally competitive high school and collegiate programs.

Throughout his coaching career, Justin has helped develop players across all levels of competition, including multiple athletes who advanced to professional baseball.

As a player, Justin was a First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region pitcher at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He was also a two-time team captain under NAIA Hall of Fame Coach Keith Veale and a two-time recipient of the NAIA Champions of Character Award.
